Warwick and the Appalachian Trail
What a great accomplishment for Warwick!. They have been chosen as the first Appalachian Trail Community in NYS. On June 30th, the town of Warwick will join a prestigious group of communities officially designated by the Appalachian Trail Conservatory. Warwick's town wide endeavor to protect and promote its 10 mile section of the Appalachian Trail has paid off. According to the Consevancy officials, Warwicks participation in the program will act as a catalyst for economic development through tourism and outdoor recreation. Warwick holds the A.T. very dear and it is an honor to become the first Appalachian Trail Community in New York State and the only one between Massachusetts and Virginia. Go Warwick!!
